Perth Central Health Campus

Location and Site Area

Perihelion’s first hospital campus – the Perth Central Health Campus (the Campus) - is ideally located at 61 Milldale Way Mirrabooka, 10 km north of Perth’s Central Business District in the City of Stirling.

The site is 12,267 sqm in area.

Demographics

The City of Stirling is located in the northern area of Perth. This area of Perth is the fastest growing area in Western Australia with an 11% growth in 2014. Perth’s northern regions of Stirling and Wanneroo are projected to double to 900,000 residents in the next 15 years (Source: City of Stirling Mirrabooka Area Plan).

Reasons for Selecting this Location

  • the geographical centre of Greater Perth;
  • 10 kilometres to the Perth Central Business District;
  • local council is focussed on high growth and the development of a hospital meets this objective;
  • no competitor hospital providing the same services; and
  • independent studies show a significant current and growing unmet demand for health services.

Support

Perihelion has gained significant written and / or verbal show of support from:

  • Department of Health;
  • City of Stirling Council;
  • Department of Housing;
  • service providers; and
  • doctors.
